Whether you are new to aerobatics, an experienced competitor, or just want to see what aerobatics is all about, come on by. All are welcome!

Come meet chapter leadership, learn about the 2025 known aerobatic sequences as well as planned chapter contest attendance for the upcoming year.

*If you don’t have a KPVU airport badge, please park on the large gravel parking lot near hangar 19-12 (on the right as you enter Mike Jense Parkway) and walk to the man gate by the hangar to be met by a chapter member with a badge who will escort you to and from the activity.
Chapter Patch Day
The last practice day on the schedule happens to be after the tequila cup, because it is so early in the month.
With that, we think it would be fun to still have a practice, but encourage everyone to fly for a smooth patch! Hopefully submit a bunch of patch applications for everyone. If you’re not familiar with patches, you earn them by doing the figures listed for each category and scoring 5 or better. You can look into it more on the IAC website!

Contest Sequence Walkthrough

Join us for a social as IAC 139 preps for the 2024 competitive season!
We will review the 2024 Known sequences for IAC competition. Anyone interested in competing or just attending a contest to observe or assist is especially encouraged to attend. We will walk through the sequences and discuss grading criteria for figures, box, positioning, etc.
We will plan ahead for the regional contests in the Mountain West this coming year and discuss logistics such as transportation and housing. All are welcome.

Spring Practice Day
Join us at the Nephi airport (U14), Saturday, April 22. This event will run 9am - whenever the last plane flies!
Practice day is a fun event for pilots, families, and spectators alike. Come sharpen your skills with critique from a national judge, and watch and support our Utah aerobatic chapter as we prepare for the 2023 season!
